About Chris Faul
Chris Faul is a graduate from the University of Houston College of Optometry. He holds a Diploma in Optometry (Wits Tech SA) BSc (UH USA) Doctoral in Optometry (UHCO USA). He practiced as an optometrist for many years, but for the past twenty years, he has been devoted to the business side of optometry. He is the author of Navigating the Business of Optometry, and was involved in the following business enterprises:
- Solo Private practice
- Practice Management Consultant
- Founder of Spectacle Warehouse Super Optical Group
- Founder of Total Optometric Management System – software for optometrists
- Vision Machinery and Equipment (VME) Distributor of In-House Lens Casting Systems
- Chris Faul Consulting – Presenting two-day business courses to optometrists on annual basis (current)
- Editor in Chief of Vision Magazine (former)

Chris lives in Knysna. He consults with the optometric industry. He lectures and writes about the business of optometry. His passion is music - he plays bass in the All Optometry rock band – The Jimmy Green Machine.
